Our Parish School

We are closely connected to our parish school, St Aidan's Church of England Memorial School. We love welcoming all the children to church for a class mass each term.  Members of our church community visit the school each week to lead an Open the Book worship assembly and we join together for special events like Remembrance Day, Ash Wednesday and Christingle.  Several of our church volunteer in the school as school governors. We prepare children each year for First Holy Communion which we celebrate in our special Easter school service.

We are also developing links with Rift House School, which we visit at least once a half term. We welcome visits from lots of local church schools to help them learn more about the Christian faith.
