Our Faith
Our parish is an inclusive Anglo‑Catholic community where all people are welcomed, affirmed and loved. Rooted in the sacraments, Scripture and the rich tradition of the Church, we seek to meet Christ in Word and Sacrament, in beauty and silence, and in the faces of our neighbours. We honour the dignity of every person, and strive for justice and mercy in our town and beyond.
We believe faith is something we live, not just something we say. At St Aidan’s and St Columba’s, we try to show God’s love in practical ways – through our weekly kitchens and cafés where anyone can find a warm welcome, a hot drink and a listening ear, and through our cell groups and study groups where we explore scripture, ask honest questions and support one another in prayer. In these simple, shared moments, we learn what it means to follow Jesus together.
